This chair can be optimally adjusted to meet the needs of the individual user. Functions which need to be changed during work can be operated on both the left and right hand sides of the chair. The backrest has independent angle adjustment and is designed to provide maximum support to the pelvic area, thereby rotating the pelvis forward and encouraging the spine into its natural S curve. The free float mechanism in this chair allows the backrest and seat pan to move with other, ensuring the correct support for the pelvis while the angle between back and seat remains the same. The foremost part of the seat is fixed, so that only the rearmost part moves up and down. The armrests on the Axia Office do not move with the chair in the dynamic sitting position.
