RH Extend is ideally suited for working in all modern office environments and is also suitable as a multi-user chair if several of you are sharing the same work area.

The Extend comes in two verions: The Extend 200 comes with the addition of an independent backrest angle adjustment - ideal for those requiring increased levels of adjustment. The Extend 100 comes without this feature, making this more suitable to multi-user environments.

In the Extend range you can choose between a high and a medium backrest, depending on your work environment, your posture needs and how tall you are. All backrests have been designed to give full support and excellent strain relief. They are slightly concave to surround your back, and narrower towards the top to permit good mobility for the arms

The RH Extend backrest is equipped with a lumbar flex pad that makes it easier for the back to stretch with full support. This, combined with the unique Tveld cushion in the upper part of the backrest, provides excellent support for the lumbar region, thorax and shoulders.

The seat also provides excellent weight distribution and strain relief. The waterfall edge and the shape of the seat pad reduces pressure on the underside of the thighs while ensuring that you always remain in the centre of the seat even when the chair is at its maximum forward tilt.

The front part of the seat cushion is also shaped to conform to the shape of the thighs, while the back part is flat to allow correct positioning of the ischial tuberosites.

To increase the comfort level for the rest of your body you can add adjustable armrests and a neck support.

Removable Pads

The seat and backrest pads on the RH Moveon can be removed and easily replaced when worn, reducing the need to replace the whole chair.

All the controls are easily located on the right side of the chair and can be reached while sitting. The most important of them are colour coded and bear pictograms showing their function. Set the back-rest height, seat height, seat depth and armrest position according to your physique and adjust the resistance of the rocking mechanism to match your weight.

If you want to allow your body to move freely, simply rotate the control knob backwards. This permits infinite seat and back angle movements. The back follows your body, and you can also feel how the seat slides gently forwards or backwards in harmony with your movements.

If you prefer to work more static, you simply rotate the same control knob in the opposite direction to lock both the backrest and the seat in the position you choose.

What is the difference between the Moveon and Extend? They look the same?

Aside from some small differences in the dimensions, the key difference is found in the mechanism. Whilst the extend has what is more often than not called a 'synchronous' mechanism where the backrest moves independently of the seat pad in free float mode, the Moveon has a fixed angle between the backrest and seat pan in free float mode. Both chairs offer excellent posture support, and both chairs offer something different.

The only way to fully appreciate this is to try it!
